nptech.io

Back in 2013, I was finding it hard to keep up with all the listservs, social media, and blogs sharing insights related to nonprofit technology, so I thought I'd try an experiment.

The pattern of user submitted and moderated content seems to work well for Reddit, Slashdot, and its ilk. So I wanted to build a space where a trusted community can share useful links (and perhaps even discussion) in an easy and searchable way. I'm hoping it will be a lightweight, socially curated resource for non-profit technologists -- and non-profit-curious -- a sort of Hacker News for Social Change.

This is the site that I want to check throughout the day to discover interesting and useful things. It didn't exist, so I made nptech.io.

The community never really came, but I still find it useful as a kind of personal bookmarking site.
