Ready to Live: Art and Life Beyond Street Violence

A project of P.O.V. Interactive in conjunction with P.O.V.’s broadcast of Jesse’s Gone, a documentary about a young hip hop artist from East Oakland who was killed in a drive-by shooting. The contents of the site are entirely user driven. The Web site composed of stories, poetry, artworks, and film clips from kids and parents who have lost loved ones to street violence. The ‘open mic’ discussion forum is on-going.
