(AP) — In a Sept. 18 story about the release of a woman who was jailed last year when prison officials discovered she never served a manslaughter sentence, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Loretta Randley said she was in a drunken rage when she shot Hartman Delano Poitier in 1981. Ms. Randley said it was Poitier who was drunk the night she shot him.
