What is this?

This project visualizes the Rotten Tomatoes^® Tomatometer^® scores of movies over time by actor, writer, or director, as well as the trend among those scores.

The Tomatometer score is calculated by Rotten Tomatoes collecting thousands of movie and TV reviews from professional critics and weighing how positive or negative they are. A Tomatometer score of 100 means the movie was well liked and strongly recommended by critics, while a score of 0 means it was critically panned.
